As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, the Leonardtown High School Band Boosters are seeking volunteers to serve on several important committees. These roles are vital to supporting our students and ensuring our organization remains strong, transparent, and financially responsible.

Committees Needing Volunteers

 Scholarship Committee

We are seeking 3 volunteers to review scholarship applications submitted by our senior band members. (Senior parents excluded) Scholarships will be awarded at the Band Banquet in May. This committee plays a meaningful role in recognizing our seniors’ dedication and achievements.

 Audit Committee

Each year, per our bylaws, we conduct an internal review of our financial records. We are looking for 3–4 volunteers to help reconcile last year’s records and ensure accountability. This process helps save the organization money and maintains transparency for our membership.

 Grant Writing Committee

We are seeking at least 2 volunteers to research, seek out, and apply for grant opportunities. These grants will help offset the significant costs of updating and maintaining our band program’s uniforms, including marching band and concert attire.
